Dr Gerald Voss is the Director of GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals’ Disease Area Program for Emerging Diseases and HIV. He oversees diversified early stage internal development programs for HIV, TB and malaria, which are complemented by major external collaborations with several outside partners.

Dr Voss also serves on the Steering Committee of the EUROPRISE European Network of Excellence for HIV prevention. Dr Voss received his doctoral training at the German Primate Center, Department of Virology, Goettingen, Germany and obtained his Ph.D. degree from Goettingen University. He expanded his scientific training.
