5. Dr. Kalevi Reijonen

Dr. Kalevi Reijonen, MD is CEO and President  of FIT Biotech Ltd. FIT Biotech is a Finnish innovative medical biotechnology company engaged in the development and commercialisation of its proprietary Gene Transport Unit (GTU®) technology and GTU® product applications in DNA vaccination as well as in immuno- and gene therapies.

Prior to joining FIT Biotech Dr. Reijonen was CEO of Spectrum Medical Sciences Ltd.  Before joining biotech Dr Reijonen held senior executive positions in Orion Corporation, a Finnish pharmaceutical company  serving as Senior Vice President, heading Division of Export Operations and Business Development with responsibilities for strategic and commercial partnerships as well as licensing.  Dr Reijonen has also served as President of Farmos, Inc. in the United States.

Dr. Reijonen is a member of the Board of Directors of Medeia Therapeutics Ltd, a Finnish drug discovery company.

Dr. Reijonen is the chairman of  the Board of Directors of  MediCap Holding OÜ and Icosagen A/S Group in Estonia.
