Responsible recipient of donations
TBVI is a responsible recipient of donations. We make sure our financial resources are used as much as possible for our objectives: research on new tuberculosis vaccins. In 2011 only 5.2% of our budget was spent on support services. TBVI's financial affairs are audited every year. The full report is available upon request.
TBVI's work is currently made possible by a range of donors; The seventh Framework Programme of the European Union, the Bill & Melinda gates Foundation, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, EDCTP, Fit Biotech, Institute Merieux, GSK Biologicals and Biofabri.
